Blake Evans, MD
Dr. Blake Evans is a board-certified urologist who joined Springs Urology in September 2022 after two years with Baptist Health in Boca Raton, FL. Previously, Dr. Evans was a partner at Southwest Florida Urological Associates/Lee Health in Fort Myers, FL, his hometown. He had an opportunity to work with his father who was a urologist in Fort Myers for nearly 4 decades. Dr. Evans received his Medical Degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and completed his Surgery Internship and Urology Residency at Shands Hospital at the University of Florida.
Dr. Evans manages patients with prostate, bladder and kidney cancer including patients with clinically localized and advanced disease. He has experience in robot-assisted and hand-assisted laparoscopic surgical techniques. He also has a prime interest in the management of kidney stones, benign prostatic hyperplasia (enlarged prostate), erectile dysfunction, hypogonadism (low testosterone), voiding dysfunction, and other general urological conditions. He also performs vasectomies.
Dr. Evans is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and an active member of the American Urological Association. He is a strong proponent of evidence-based medicine and patient-centered care. He ensures patients completely understand the most up to date information and treatment options before making a care decision. Dr. Evans takes pride in listening and treating patients with respect.
